We would like to welcome to an open meeting about the Kunstsilo-project Monday 5th December at 18.00 to 20.00 at Amfiet in Rådhuskvartalet, Kristiansand. The 6 finalists in their developed form after step 2 will be announced and presented. There will also be a Q&A session about the finalists with questions from the audience. Read more. SEPTEMBER 30th, 2016

6 finalists have been invited to further process and develop their submissions for step 2 of the competition. The submissions are «Kunstsilo X», «Silosamlingen», «Kulturakse», «Dream», «Kultur-industrielt kompleks» og «Lysningen».

Program and appendixes for step 2, and the jurys report for step 1 can now be downloaded from competition materials.

AUGUST 31st, 2016

A general presentation of The Tangen Collection, Sørlandets Kunstmuseum and the architectural competition can now be downloaded.

AUGUST 25TH, 2016

The winning submissions in stage 1 of the competition are exhibited at Sørlandets Kunstmuseum until September 18th.

AUGUST 8TH, 2016

Stage 1 participants who were not awarded, procured or given honourable mention, may collect their submissions before August 20th, 2016. Contact Maria Steinsto for more information.

JUNE 28TH, 2016

The jury has now picked the finalists of stage 1. Press release and descriptions (in Norwegian) are available under «Winning submissions in stage 1» in the menu on the left.

JUNE 22ND, 2016

The winners in stage 1 of the competition will be presented in Kilden on Tuesday, June 28th, 13.30, by Harald Furre, chairman of the jury and mayor of Kristiansand.

We are extremely pleased to have received 101 submissions to the competition. All submissions will be exhibited at Kilden Performing Arts Centre from June 15th until July 9th 2016. The submissions will also be presented here on the website from June 13th.

124 questions regarding understanding of the competition program and other technical conditions, submitted before the deadline March 22nd, has now been answered. See Appendix 15.
