On Thursday 11 June, Kunstsilo invites you to a major opening night and full-house celebration as Between Dreams and Reality. Stories from the Tangen Collection opens to the public. The entire museum will come alive - from the Silo Hall to Panorama - with art, music, DJs, live performances, exhibition hosts, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the evening.

The evening begins in the Silo Hall with a musical performance by Jonas Alaska, before guests are invited to explore Kunstsilo across all floors. Later in the evening, the atmosphere continues in Panorama with live jazz by Quintonic and sweeping views of the city and fjord.

The opening also marks the completion of all three exhibitions in the Stories from the Tangen Collection series - and for the first time, the full story can now be experienced throughout all three floors of the museum.

Between Dreams and Reality takes as its starting point two central movements in the history of modernism: Expressionism and Surrealism. The exhibition explores how art can both reflect the world as it is - and give shape to people’s inner lives, dreams, and imagination.

Welcome to a festive evening with art, music and great atmosphere!
